Their areas of expertise include, establishment of home exercise programs specific to each patient, muscle strengthening and gait training, instructions in the safe use of assistive devices at home, and assistance in pain management.
Our team of professionals categorized under this service aim towards achieving the patients maximum potential in performance of activities of daily living. Their focus is with patients who have upper extremity weakness. limited upper body range of motion and decreased fine motor control, as well as patients in need of instructions in energy conservation.
Our specially trained professionals providing this service do not only concentrate on the obvious communication deficits, but they also focus on clients with cognitive deficits as well as people affected with poor gag reflex, swallowing difficulties.
Our patient and caring teams of CHHA under the direct supervision of our clinical staff provide assistance with activities of daily living such as personal care, meal preparation, ambulation, and exercise.
